See through a different lens!
I am an amateurer Photographer with experience taking scenic photos and my goal is to publish some of them on this web site for others enjoyment.
I fell in love with photography when I was in grade school and received a Kodak Bantam 828 bellows camera for graduation from P.S. 8 in Kingston, NY. Since then I have had the opportunity to travel extensively taking my camera with me. My most recent travels have been Throughout the beautiful state of New Hampshire and images from there will be posted first. Others will be posted as I convert them to digital format. Please check back often as new images will appear in the future.
I started my photography journey while in primary school using my parents Kodak Brownie camera which used 117 film a 2 ¼ by 2 ¼ format. When I graduated 7th grade, I received a Kodak Bantam camera as a graduation present. The bantam was a compact range finder bellows camera that used 828 roll film and was my camera until sometime during my high school years when my enthusiasm for photography waned. I became interested in taking pictures again while in the US Army in Japan. While there, I purchased two cameras, a Nicca llls 35 mm range finder camera with a 50 mm removable lens and a Crystr twin reflex camera. Although I was in the army I was stationed at an US Airforce base where there was a photo lab for our use. I was able to develop and print my own pictures here. The Nicca llls was a knockoff of the Lica lll,s and of very high quality. I used that camera for twenty years until it was stolen out of my luggage at the Philadelphia airport. Since then my camera ownership consisted of Voightlander, Minolta, Nikon and Canon. At last count 15 cameras are in my possession, 3 of which I use fairly often. There are also several lenses and other accessories and lets not forget the cellphone.
